Vehicle Camping Loop
Approximately 20 sites spaced out along a quarter-mile dirt road loop. Note -
Availability may be limited by mud or snow, so please call to check on
conditions during the winter months. Sites are "primitive" without hookups,
though a few are in reach of outlets if you have a long extension cord
(50'-100'). The vehicle camping area is mostly out in the open, though there are
some shady spots on the east side of the loop. Many sites - particularly those
on the west side overlooking the valley - have dramatic views. All sites
have a picnic table and a fire ring - free firewood is provided. Campers have
use of all facilities including the Oak House kitchen and dining area. Though
the loop is designed for campers, trailers, and RVs, you may tent camp here
though you must specifically reserve a Vehicle site (not a tent site)
Important: We take camping reservations for weekends and
holidays though the specific sites are always first-come, first-served.
Campsites do end up full on many weekends so please call ahead, particularly
from May through mid-October!

With unobstructed views overlooking the
valley, the west side of the Vehicle Camping loop
is
perhaps the best place
to view Valley View's legendary sunsets!
