Congratulations Doug

As 2024 comes to an end, we celebrate Doug Bishop’s retirement. Doug has been involved with Valley View Hot Springs for roughly 45 years, and his leadership for the last ten years as Executive Director has guided the way for growth and prosperity at Orient Land Trust. We will forever be grateful for his dedication, institutional knowledge, and wisdom. Always quick with a smile during stressful moments, Doug has been an exemplary teacher for all of us who have had the pleasure of working with him. 

Doug’s retirement marks the last in a series of management retirements over the last few years. 

Although we have new faces in the roles, our values and commitment to our mission and culture remain the same. 

At the beginning of 2025, I am both honored and humbled to be stepping into the role of Executive Director. With the guidance of all of those who came before me, I am dedicated to upholding Neil’s legacy, protecting this land and water, and continuing to build the unique culture we embrace. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve this organization, of which I’m proud to be a part. 

With the holiday season upon us, we want to thank each of you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you in 2025!
